Your Safety Is Our Concern

Due to the recent pandemic affecting Washington DC, we have heightened our sensitivity and awareness towards hygiene and cleanliness of our Hotel. We are following directions put forth by our local and national government in order to best identify and prevent any potential risk.

*Please note that in addition to the indoor mask policy currently in place and pursuant to the Mayor’s Order 2021-148 issued on December 22, 2021, we are required to see proof* of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination for all guests over the age of 12 to permit entry into all hotel meeting spaces, common rooms, public areas, and restaurant outlets. Our hotel is also required to verify vaccination with matching photo identification* for patrons ages 18 years and older.

Effective January 15, 2022, proof of one vaccination shot is required for entry.

Effective February 15, 2022, proof of two vaccination shots is required for entry.


*Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination status are limited to a CDC issued vaccination card (original, photocopy, or digital copy/photo), record of immunization from a healthcare provider or public health authority, or a COVID-19 verification app (e.g., VaxYes, Clear, Excelsior, MyIR).

*Acceptable forms of photo identification include a state issued driver’s license or limited purpose driver’s license, any other state issued identification card, a passport, a DC One Card, or a Student ID.

We are Certified with a WELL Health-Safety Rating
This new certification is awarded to businesses that demonstrate and maintain high levels of cleanliness and building maintenance protocols such as:

  • Air quality
  • Hand hygiene
  • Surface cleaning
  • Cleaning product quality
  • Emergency preparedness

GUEST SAFETY

  • Masks are not required for guests who are fully vaccinated. 
  • Hand sanitation stations will be available at the front desk and all public spaces.
  • Public Area Attendant presence in the lobby daily frequently sanitizing all surface areas with EPA approved disinfectants with an increased focus on high-touch areas.
  • All guests and visitors must check-in upon arrival of hotel premises.

SLEEPING ROOMS

  • In-room information and menus will be available by QR code that can be scanned on mobile devices to access information digitally.

MERCY ME

  • Menus will be single-use and available digitally through a QR code.
  • Contactless payment options are available.
  • Mercy Me will be delivered via Caviar in disposable containers and left outside the guest room doors for contactless delivery.

THE GYM and MORE

  • The gym will be open.
  • Valet parking services will be available for all guests.

We are in this together and plan to maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect. With this, we ask everyone on the property to follow social distancing rules by keeping at least six feet between each other or groups while on property.
